Shop Update

My latest shop update is LIVE, and it’s a biggie (in no small part due to this being a strange and ongoingly tough year)! Pictured here is just a sampler. There is something new in almost every menu collection! As usual, newsletter subscribers get advance details and a reminder, so signing up for those infrequent emails is always the best way to stay in the loop for what’s new and going on from my studio. And I’m always trying to bring something new! New colors, new patterns, and new joy.

New Work

On Friday, I added new work to my online shop, including lots of cups & lots of NEW cups! I’m particularly excited about the colorful Squattie cups, perfect for an at-home cappuccino. Working on these helped get me through the stress & strangeness of COVID quarantine. I do hope you & yours are doing well.

Because I have so many cups available, I revamped my shop’s menu for easy browsing. So now you can pull down a menu from the Cups & Mugs Collection and search by style. I’m a wild woman, I know.

Shelter In Place Pots

I want to sincerely bid each of you Stay Hale & Hearty! Whether you are hunkered down like me, or are one of the brave out there working hard to help the rest of us through this, I want to wish you and your family well.

I sent out a newsletter last week announcing an unexpected update to my online shop with new work that was intended for other events that have been canceled or moved online because of our collective need to shelter in place & maintain social distance. The same upheaval is true for most of my fellow self-employed artists making us doubly appreciative of your support right now. If you are able, purchasing & gifting are awesome ways to show support for an artist or small business. Support can also be sharing (shop updates, announcements, and news) to your own community network via email or on social media. Liking, commenting, and sharing on Instagram, Facebook, & Twitter are also helpful because it boosts artists’ & small biz visibility.

So, a couple things:

1. New Work. Because I have work, but fewer venues than planned, I have added bunches of new cups & a few new vases to my online store. Some pots pictured here have sold, but there’s lots to peruse. AND it’s actually the most diverse range of styles, colors, and patterns of cups I’ve ever made!

2. Mark downs. For the first time and because of this strange time, I’ve marked down some older work in a couple categories (serving, wall pillows, & plates) in my online shop. Normally discounted work only appears at my studio sale for in-person purchasing, but I’ve canceled that event as I’m all in for safety, plus this —if ever– seems like a nice time to offer a small, special opportunity to all of you for your ongoing support.

Reminder, if your order costs less to pack & ship, I happily reimburse overages.

3. Requests. I plan to keep working as I’m fortunate to have a home studio, but because literally most everything has been canceled or postponed thru June, have time for requests! So! If you’ve seen something in my online shop or sold section and would like something similar, the same item in a different color(s) in my palette, or in multiples, etc. please drop me an email with image(s) and preferences so I can consider your request. It will still probably take 2-3 months to complete. (Payment process: Once we confirm our expectations, I send a PayPal invoice for a non-refundable deposit that goes towards the final purchase. When your piece is complete, I send an image and another invoice for the remainder. Request pots ship promptly after payment, and cannot be returned for refund.)

BTW, I’ve been posting more in my Stories on IG & FB than in the regular feeds lately (accessed at the top of each platform, or by clicking my image/logo there), so check there for updates & good stuff too.

Finally: A note on packaging & safety. As I mentioned & many of you know, my studio is in our home where both my husband & I have been sheltering in place. We are avid 20 second+ hand-washers with regular soap and water (some folks have allergies to hand-sanitizers & anti-bacterial soap, so those are not in use), and have been in contact with no one who is under the weather nor tested positive for COVID-19. If you are concerned when you receive your purchase, you can wait an extra period to open and/or wash your new piece, recycle the packaging, and promptly wash your hands (all of which I’d recommend anyway). All this to say, I’m only shipping awesome pots in each box.

Thank you for your interest & support!
Be well, & stay home if you can.
